The Georgia MedTech Innovation Summit 2026 by Clinical Accelerator returns to Tbilisi on 11–13 September 2026, bringing together the global community of innovators shaping the future of cardiovascular and interventional medicine. Building on the strong momentum of recent years, the Summit remains a key meeting point for pioneering device companies, leading clinicians, investors, strategics, and R&D experts driving the development of cutting-edge medical technologies.
It is with great pleasure that we are happy to announce The Georgia MedTech Innovation Summit 2026, organized by Clinical Accelerator, which will take place September 11–13, 2026, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The Summit brings together an international audience of physicians, clinical KOLs, medtech industry leaders, experts in medical device development (clinical and regulatory), medtech investors, and other stakeholders actively involved in the clinical development of innovative medical technologies.
The program will highlight the latest advancements in the development of novel medical devices in cardiovascular and other key therapeutic areas. Many presentations will feature clinical studies conducted or currently underway in Georgia and the broader region. Participating companies will present their latest clinical results, strategic objectives, and future funding plans.
Following the success of previous years, the Summit will once again feature the GMIS Shark Tank Competition with a $25,000 prize for the winner. Selected innovative companies will have the opportunity to pitch their technologies before an expert panel of investors, clinicians, and industry leaders. The Georgia MedTech Innovation Summit is an invitation-only event. Interested parties are invited to register their interest, and formal invitations will be extended following review by the organizing committee.

Device space investigations have been on the rise. Georgia has been central to it because a lot of investigative companies want to come here early, do investigations, iterate the technology. This conference really embodies the fact that there’s been a lot of development in this space. We have a very broad attendance, from not only all over the world but also from different spectrums of device therapies, with a number of companies and investigators that are very experienced in this space and have done investigations here in Georgia.
This has been a very personal gathering of experts in the field, entrepreneurs, investors, clinicians, where the time that has been spent together, sharing thoughts, sharing ideas, talking about innovation, and talking about the medtech ecosystem that you’ve been building here in Georgia has been real. You’ve chosen a great group of people to bring here to the Summit.
This conference is pretty unique experience and unique opportunity to see all these innovations ligned up and get feedback from investors. I think what you’ve created is quite different from what we see at academic conferences. Here you have really senior people, this is their passion, this is their living that they’re showing you. I thought I was coming as an educator but I also got educated which is great.
The interaction between all the types of attendees… you have heart failure and interventional cardiology leaders of the field; you also have partners and managing partners from really amazing early and middle stage investing partners and CEOs from different companies. The synergy that you get from this group that can work together and interact together and network together has been invaluable.
The program showed that is really brought together regulatory expertise, key opinion leaders and the device companies all in the same room talking about the same topics. That’s how great ideas move forward and how you advance science. The Georgia MedTech Summit is one of the few meetings that is able to do this successfully.
Having a start-up, we have the necessity of fundraising; so it was great to meet some of the investors here. It was interesting to find out what they are thinking, what they think is necessary for us to do and so on. The interaction and networking are also a very important part of this Summit, it was very well organised and I thank you.
I am very pleased to be here. I think that Georgia has created a very important ecosystem for Sponsor and Innovators to come and conduct clinical studies here.
